First ever post

It has taken longer than I thought, but with the help of Eleventy, Netlify and lots of googling, I've finally managed to cobble something together that almost resembles an acceptable site.

No doubt I will look back on this at some point in the future and think "Holy Mackerel! Why did I do it like that?!?". Which is how I look back on pretty much everything I've ever done.
